Santurce, San Juan
Physician-Led Medical EstheticsThrough her work in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, Carla Tamayo, MD heard patients speak about more than their medical concerns. They also had questions about changes in their skin, appearance, and how they felt when they looked in the mirror.
Those conversations helped shape Pravan Esthetics: a place where esthetic care remains grounded in medical experience while making room for personal goals, questions, and preferences.
Pravan Esthetics was created for people who want clear information and thoughtful care, whether they arrive with a specific treatment in mind or prefer guidance before deciding what to explore. The approach is not about making everyone look the same. It is about listening carefully, explaining options clearly, and respecting the features that feel personal to you.
